· HPC Manager :
- Primary Responsibilities:
§ This is a senior leadership position responsible for the High Performance Compute (HPC) Operations for Texas Instruments (TI) India. A minimum of 12 years of total industry experience with a minimum of 5 years managing an IT Service team. Effectively manage the HPC domain to provide optimum performance for our IC Designers and Software Developers while maximizing the ROI and fully complying to TI’s global standards and processes. Provide strong managerial and technical leadership to maximize the contributions, effectiveness, and productivity of the team.Position requires a high degree of collaboration with the Strategy and Operational teams in the major TI Design Sites across the world to deploy best practices and solutions in the HPC environment. This person reports to the Head of IT Services in TI India.

Excellent track record with strong leadership skills. Should have prior experience managing a large group of people in an IT Operations environment at a major company. Expected to have experience in making people decisions (hiring, performance assessment, compensation decisions, disciplinary actions etc.). Capability to understand high level business and finance goals and being able to set and drive the priorities and projects with in the team to support those goals. Understanding and contributing towards Financial and Cost goals. Working very closely with technology suppliers such as HP, Sun, Dell, etc and be able to influence their roadmaps to help TI cost-effective and efficient in IT Operations. Demonstrated experience in thriving in fast paced environments, comfortable to deal with ambiguous situations. First hand knowledge in managing Compute Grid and Storage environments. Hands on experience is highly desirable to be successful in this role. Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must. Skilled at understanding, articulating, communicating, and presenting strategic technical desires and directions. Capable of exhibiting vision. Able and willing to interface with and work well with senior management – both Customers and IT Services. Strong project management and coordination skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven skills in dealing with Internal and External Customers and Vendors. Capable of recognizing issues/tasks and aggressively driving them through to completion. Strong technical foundations in UNIX and other relavant domains.
